PMSCO Healthcare Consulting is pleased to offer yet another set of educational sessions specifically designed for medical practices. While the sessions in our first series assisted in dealing with a dissatisfied patient or an argumentative co-worker (see bottom of page for descriptions), these programs focus on improving the practice team. The Elements of a Winning Team - In today's environment, successful medical practices, must create and maintain a winning team. This program examines the elements needed for a group of people to work together and function as a team. Information on how individuals, working together as a team, can achieve peak proficiency in the work place will be discussed and demonstrated through various activities. Attendees will be provided with a better understanding of themselves, their co-workers and how successful organizations consistently use specific procedures to become winners. Harassment in the Workplace - All forms of harassment are unacceptable in the workplace. During the course of this session, harassment is defined, types of harassment are identified and the dangers of harassment to the productivity of the company are examined in detail. Do you have harassment policies and strategies in place? If not, this program will provide the information needed to maintain a working environment that promotes respect and understanding. Conflict Management - Conflict is a daily occurrence and dealing with conflict can be stressful and time consuming. During this seminar, controversy will be examined to determine the dominant causes of conflict. Skills are taught to show the participants how to identify the causes of a conflict and turn them into creative, productive ideas. Conflict and its relationship to stress and productivity will also be emphasized throughout the program.
